Rovita GmbH, which is based in Engelsberg / Wiesmühl in Bavaria, combines tradition with innovation. The company is focused on the stabilisation and flavour optimisation of foods, which is achieved primarily by the use of milk proteins and innovative, milk-based food additives. In its industrial business, Rovita specialises in the “Savoury” business area, whereby an emphasis is placed on the development, production and marketing of high-quality, functional stabilisers for the meat processing industry. The range consists of around 350 products, which are exported to some 50 countries around the world. In this connection, value is attached to natural raw materials, top quality service and consistent quality.
In fact, inovation and quality constitute two major corporate attributes. As a result of ongoing research and intensive technological teamwork with customers, tailor-made solutions are developed in the company’s technical centre and laboratory and guarantee a stable product quality concept. In addition, joint projects with a number of universities are in progress within the scope of publicly funded programmes.
Investments in the expansion of the R&D sector have created the preconditions for further food industry innovations. Among other developments, a diversity of customised, cost saving products have recently been developed, in particular for use in meat products in the Eastern European market.
